hi did you have a good summer Yellow how about you what's next time YouTube  you looking good  thanks Nick hi Greta what's next class YouTube that makes it better hello Laurel hi is it coming to the class check the list on the board you'll see that each of you has been given a seating assignment at your place and protective eyewear and the lab apron put them on to get used to wearing them this morning we're going to cultivate your lab safety awareness could you please check your hair may I ask what your name is Williamson mrs. Williamson it's okay for you to leave my hair down it's okay everywhere else in school Greta but the lab is a special place and requires special safety measures and the we're in this for all of them a so we always have to be prepared for surprises fact that's how scientists make discoveries so ask questions and try to find answers that's real one in this class expect to be surprised and because we can't expect the unexpected There are rules and procedures so you'll need to follow directions most are to protect you like these high fashion lab aprons and eye protection in this class we're going to focus on lab safety awareness to help you avoid common accidents being safe in the lad means developing good habits using your common sense and staying alert remember in the lab surprises can and
